Respect and Enjoy Our Wilderness
Elaine and Mark welcome you to some of our wilderness trips. We will be adding bush recipes as time goes on, so
keep tuned.

Who are we?
Elaine and I live in the new City of Ottawa, in a tiny village in West Carleton.
We both love wilderness canoeing and camping. We have built this site to share some sight into the many areas of
travel in Ontario for canoeists. In 1998 we did 13 trips into Algonquin and have averaged at least 4 trips every summer. We
are closing in on 100 expeditions into our Parks and have stopped counting our Moose sightings. We have had 6 Bear experiences
and can assure campers that they are indeed generally very SHY creatures.
